Evidence-Based Medicine Guidelines

Arkansas Health Network (AHN) providers are committed to providing the highest quality of care to their patients. An important tool for improving the quality of care is to use evidence-based medicine (EBM) guidelines. These clinical practice guidelines are developed by professional societies of medical experts, using the best available scientific evidence. On this site, you will find EBM guidelines for the management of Hypertension, Type II Diabetes Mellitus, Adult Depression, and Vaccinations in ambulatory care settings. These guidelines were reviewed and approved by AHN Physician-led committees, and subsequently adopted by the AHN Board.
